The Hermit Sessions

We started this project 3 years ago. I heard the track 'Sorry' for the first time, which was a studio version at that time. I called Colin the next day that we should do something with it. Put it on a record or something.
In the past three years a lot has happened. We teamed up with ON, Jammm and Niels Aalbers. His first record 'The Hermit Sessions' came out in February and was in the album top 10.
He is doing a tour with 25 great musicians on stage and every show is sold out weeks before untill now. Pinkpop is coming and other countries are following.
Yep, the adventure is just beginning.

I started working with Sjam, Jori and Rogier in 2006. They won a price or something and they had some tracks, but they didn't do anything with it. So I suggested to put them on a Vinyl record. They thought it was a cool idea, so that's what we did.
In January 2008, they released there first album 'Beats Work'. In september we found them a great manager called Cedric.
In the beginning of 2009 we joined forces with Jammm, a record company doing everything beter than other companies. So that's good.
Now everything is looking very good for Nobody Beats The Drum.

We were asked to produce a program about 20 years of hiphop in Holland.
We asked all the people that were involved in the hiphop scene in those 20 years. Most came, some didn't.
It was such a night when the discussions never stop. Interesting people, interesting subjects. Next time we will not make a studio program, but visit all the people in their own environment.
